THE BAR

With origins dating back to the 1950's, Tin Lizzie Saloon is Orange County's premier upscale gay bar, where locals and out-of-towners come to mingle in a lively atmosphere and indulge in fine wine and spirits. Open daily, the red-hued Victorian saloon is located in the heart of SoBeCa (South on Bristol Entertainment, Culture & Arts) in Costa Mesa. Last year, The Memphis Group owners acquired the property after a 10-year courtship and promptly went about revamping the interior. The saloon's plush, new décor features red pin-and-tuck banquettes with brass footrails, velvet-embossed 'flocked' wallpaper, ornate gold sconces, velvet drapes, hardwood floors and an incredible sound system. Considered a gay oasis in conservative OC's urban sprawl, Tin Lizzie Saloon continues its long tradition of offering a spirited and welcoming atmosphere for OC's gay community.
